Driving School GT Instructions

A car game with parking missions sprinkled along the way - if this is your kind of game, then Driving School GT is one that you should check out. The controls of the game is just like of most parking and car games you find in the internet. Right after picking the car of your choice, for just about everything, you will use your keyboard, especially your arrow or directional keys. For basic movement, it's pretty basic: (1) Press the up directional key to start moving forward and accelerate by holding that down. (2) The left and right arrow keys, on the other hand, is for steering to either direction. (3) And, of course, the down arrow key serves as your brake and reverse button. On your screen, you will find a couple of more buttons. The one that looks like a megaphone is for turning the sound on and off. On the other hand, you can switch the music on and off with the musical note button. If you need to pause the game, the button with the number 8 (which makes no sense if you'd ask me) is the button to press. OK, with that out of the way, let's get into the game.

Driving School GT Walkthrough

Whether you are a parking game or you want a car game that's faster paced than the usual car parking games out there, Driving School GT has something for you and it's a game you may want to check out. First thing I would like to point out: I really like the design. It's good enough and it's pleasant to the eye. As for the game's pace, it's pretty fast and MUCH more exciting than your average car parking game (where things could slow down like a turtle and precision and patience are paramount).

Going back to the game, while it's fun, it doesn't offer a lot in terms of replay value, something that parking and car games share among themselves. HOWEVER, that shouldn't turn you off as this game will surely keep you busy for quite some time thanks to the 15 levels of driving fun that it has. The goal is pretty standard and easy to pick up: the blue X marks the spot in this game and you need to find it somewhere in every level. You need to drive your car all the way to the blue X mark, and you MUST not bump into anything or it's game over in an instant. To make sure you won't 'cheat' by inching your way to it like a turtle, there's a time limit that you need to beat. Now, if you are looking for a timer, you won't find any. Instead, check out that blue health bar on the upper left part of the screen. Once the game starts, it will slowly run out. Once it's all out before you reach the blue X mark, you need to start the level again.

Fortunately, bumping into anything or running out of time won't take you to the very first stage. Nah, it won't slap your face with the flashing Game Over. Instead, you have 5 lives, 5 turns to begin with. BUT don't be too cocky and careless. With the amount of obstacles and road hazards along the way, it's easy to find those 5 lives dwindling down to nothing!

Just want to remind you fellas that this game may NOT be for newbies. The obstacles and challenges here could be very tricky. How tricky could it get? OK, let's say you are just a couple of steps away from the X mark. Cool, we'll get there with no hiccups, right? WRONG! A train, another car driven by a reckless driver, etc. could suddenly pop out of nowhere and burst your bubble. This is one of those car games that's meant for people with speedy reflexes... and unfortunately, I'm not one of them.

Still, this is quite an enjoyable car game that kept me entertained despite failing it badly.
