Polygon Racer 3D
Polygon Racer 3D Instructions
The controls of Polygon Racer 3D isn't different from other racing and car games out there. For basic movement, the arrow keys of your keyboard would do the talking: (1) Press up arrow key to move forward and accelerate. (2) The left and right arrow keys are for steering in those directions. (3) And the down arrow key, on the other hand, is for hitting the brakes and slowing down. Should you need to pause the game, all you have to do is press the P button. If you are quite uncomfortable with the view, just press V to change and see if you'll like it. The controls, by the way, can be easily changed. All you have to do is go to the Options section at the game's menu. From there, you can click a key control and reassign another button to the action. To cancel those changes, just press the ESC button. Along with that, if you want to remove or put back the Sound Effects and Music, change the speed measurements to and from Kph and Mph, tweak the quality of the graphics, or show the FPS rate, this can be done on the Options Section. OK, now that we have taken care of the technical part, let's get on with the game.
Polygon Racer 3D Walkthrough
Polygon Racer 3D - this is a racing and car game that takes you to a different world... one that is neon and wire-framed and one where polygons without wheels can set the road ablaze! It looks close to another car game - Neon Rider, BUT not quite. Anyway, the mechanics and goal of the game is very straightforward: you need to get the end of the track before the time runs out. There are no opponents or other racers in this game, which sort of waters down the challenge. To compensate that though, the tracks are REALLY long and there are a lot of other vehicles in the way. After completing a quarter of a track, you get a time bonus and hope that it will be enough to help you reach the finish line.
Things To Avoid At All Costs: Just as in any racing and car game, you don't want to bump into anything. If you hit an object, you will be dazed and, worse, you won't be able to accelerate for the next 3 seconds. On the other hand, if you hit another car or vehicle, you will lose control and skid off the road... and that runs the risk of you hitting another object in the process. Either of these cases is bad news. So while speed is important, pay attention to your driving, too. Time is of the essence in this game.
Upgrades - who doesn't want their car to perform better? Every racer wants that and that's EXACTLY what you need to do when you earn credits. Don't just let them sit there. Use them by buying upgrades that will boost your car's performance.
A Nicety: In this world where everything is in 3D - movies, console games, etc., I think it's nice to have a free flash game - car game, parking game, or whatever, to support the use of 3D glasses. And the good news is that Polygon Racer 3D supports it... although, just the older version of the glasses. This can enhance the game play and give you a better gaming experience. Something that I always welcome whenever I'm playing. So what, on earth are you waiting for? Give Polygon Racer 3D a shot!
